Changing Lives. The Breast Cancer 3Day.
The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight against breast cancer. During three awe-inspiring days, participants walk 60 miles in this challenging and empowering experience, helping to raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research and patient support programs and .
Along the way, they get all the support they need for training and fundraising. And each night of the event, walkers experience an incredible mobile city that’s more than just sleeping tents and warm showers. They can eat, relax and renew their spirit with their fellow walkers.
NPT manages the events and will direct up to 15 percent of the net proceeds to support the NPT Breast Cancer Fund, which provides long-term support for breast cancer initiatives. As the primary beneficiary, Susan G. Komen for the Cure receives 85 percent of the net proceeds to support breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment programs. To date, these charity-driven events have raised more than $25 million to fund critical breast cancer research, education and community outreach programs.
