A philanthropist wanted to donate 88 acres of private property to benefit the Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades (pictured).

The donor also wanted to protect his donated land from future real estate development.

He gifted it into an NPT donor-advised fund account and we sold the property to a municipality that preserved it for public use.

NPT worked with the Williamson School to develop a matching grant program agreement that would help it attract new donors.

A global hotel corporation wanted to reward their best facilities by allowing them to make grants to their local communities.

Instead of creating a corporate foundation, they established a donor-advised fund at NPT.

From this donor-advised fund, hotels recommended grants that provided disaster relief and fulfill a variety of local needs.

NPT handled all of the management, due diligence, compliance and reporting that international grantmaking requires.

A donor wanted to consolidate over $50 million in donor-advised fund assets from three other charities.

A large portion of the assets were in alternative investments and the donor hoped to retain his investment approach.

To alleviate his concerns, we worked with the family's lawyer and helped the donor customize an advisor succession plan.

In the final plan, family members serve one-year rotations as the fund's advisor and may grant out an equal percentage of the assets.
