Janet Gessner Alford
Janet Gessner Alford is NPT’s Strategy Executive. She led the development of NPT’s Strategic Plan, and her current focus is on product and customer strategy. Janet’s career spans global philanthropy, NGOs, and Fortune 500 companies, where she has driven large-scale strategic transformation, go-to-market strategy, and the building of high-performing teams. Prior to joining NPT, Janet served as a global consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she led Alliances & Acquisitions and worked in the Paris Office. She also worked with NGOs such as the United Way Worldwide, where she co-created a global CEO leadership program. Janet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill, and an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary.
