Lisa Barr

Regional Director, West

Lisa Barr is the Western Regional Director, based out of San Francisco. She brings over 10 years of philanthropic experience to this role, most recently as Director of Philanthropic Entrepreneurship at Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Her other prior experience includes Executive Director roles at Longwood Symphony Orchestra and Boston Musica Viva, and Manager of Institutional Giving and Special Projects at Handel and Haydn Society. She has also served on several boards including Silicon Valley Planned Giving Council, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network’s Boston Chapter and Brookline Arts Center. Lisa earned her Master of Business Administration from Boston University Questrom School of Business and Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University.

Rina Alvarez

Regional Director | Midwest

Rina Alvarez is the Regional Director of Development, Midwest for National Philanthropic Trust, and is based out of Chicago, IL. She is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) with deep experience in bridging partnerships between the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Previously, she served as the first Director of Firmwide Diversity and Inclusion for Kirkland & Ellis, a leading global law firm, where she helped to grow the firm’s brand in the D&I space. Her prior experience includes supervising Hispanic media outreach efforts for worldwide clients at the Leo Burnett Company such as Kellogg’s, Kraft, Procter & Gamble and United Airlines. She also directed strategic planning, resource development and marketing for El Valor, the largest nonprofit serving Latino families in the Midwest. Rina has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations throughout her career. She continues to serve as the Chair of El Valor’s Resource Development Committee. Rina earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with dual concentrations in Management Strategy and Marketing, and a BA in Sociology from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, IN.

Ellen Galluccio

Regional Director | Northeast

Ellen Galluccio is the Northeastern Regional Director of Development, based in Stamford, Connecticut. She is responsible for business development, relationship management and advanced philanthropic planning. Ellen has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets. She was a Managing Director at Natixis in financial product sales and later worked on a new business process as the Senior Legal and Risk Coordinator for Natixis Capital Markets. Prior to joining Natixis, Ellen was a Director at Credit Agricole in financial product sales. Ellen also served as Vice President and Manager at JPMorgan in Foreign Exchange. She received an M.S. degree in International Relations from New York University, and a B.A. degree in Political Science from Goucher College.

Dawn Fournier

Regional Director | Northeast

Dawn Fournier is the Northeastern Regional Director of Development. She has
assisted high net worth families with wealth management and philanthropic
planning for over 25 years. Dawn began her career with The Carlyle Group and
has worked with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (acquired by Credit Suisse), Merrill
Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group, and Stifel Financial. She earned
a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from Boston College, an MEd in
Counseling and Consultative Psychology from Harvard University, and an MBA
with a concentration in finance from Wharton University

Janos Major

Regional Director, West

Janos Major is the Western Regional Director, based out of San Francisco. Over the past 11 years, Janos has focused on high net worth and ultra high net worth clients managing upwards of $225M. He has focused on retirement planning, investment strategies, tax planning and estate and legacy planning. Before joining NPT, he worked for Fisher Investments as an Investment Counselor. Other prior experience includes roles at PNC as a Financial Specialist and at ING Financial Partners as an Investment Advisor and District Manager. Janos earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University with a concentration in Finance and Legal Studies.

Jeff Gerold, CFP

Senior Regional Director | Southwest

Jeff Gerold, CFP is the Southwestern Regional Director of Development and is based in Austin, Texas. Jeff has worked in advanced charitable planning for nearly a decade. He enjoys helping clients achieve their philanthropic goals, and in the process, reduce federal income and capital gains taxes, ultimately turning those savings into gains for charity. Jeff’s experience includes a broad spectrum of charitable contributions such as oil and gas wells, real estate, and private company stock. Jeff is a Central Texas native and a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton. In 1998, he began his career in Financial Services. In 2005, he fulfilled the educational and exam requirements to be a Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) practitioner. In 2009, Jeff earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation.

Ethan Burke

Regional Director | Southeast

Ethan Burke is the Southeastern Regional Director of Development, based in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife and three boys. He is responsible for business development, relationship management and advanced philanthropic planning. Ethan has more than 20 years of experience in advanced charitable planning. Before joining NPT, Ethan spent 10 years with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, working with high net worth individuals on legacy planning with complex assets. Ethan also served as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch as a private wealth strategist. He received a graduate certificate from Georgetown University in Managing Global Business and a B.A. degree in Political Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Fernando Gonzalez

Regional Director | Mid-Atlantic

Fernando Gonzalez is the Regional Director of Development, Mid-Atlantic at National Philanthropic Trust covering PA, DC, DE, MD, WV, OH, MI and IN. Mr. Gonzalez has eleven years of wealth management experience, as well as five years’ experience in real estate and mortgage consultancy, and a rich history of finance, governance, and community engagement. Prior to joining NPT, he was Vice President and Relationship Strategist for PNC Wealth Management in the Philadelphia region. Earlier in his career, he served as a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch, and as a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors. Currently, he is President of the Board for the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, among other volunteer leadership positions. Mr. Gonzalez holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, focusing on Finance and Global Business, and a Bachelor of Music from Colorado State University.
