David Wezdenko

David Wezdenko is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Leaf Ventures, a micro venture capital firm that invests in and advises early-stage companies with differentiated solutions to meaningful problems, strong execution potential, and the ability to create commercial value while improving lives and communities.

 

David also serves as an Independent Trustee for the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company family of mutual funds; Trustee for the National Philanthropic Trust and Advisory Board Member of Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

 

In addition to his current governance and advisory roles, David has more than 40 years of financial services leadership experience, with a board-level perspective informed by decades of building, leading, and transforming complex businesses and operating platforms. He has held C-suite and senior leadership roles across asset management, wealth management, and investment banking at JP Morgan, Evercore, and Fidelity Investments. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

 

David’s community work centers on mentoring, education, and expanding opportunity, particularly for underserved groups. He serves as Board Director and Treasurer of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Palm Beach County and Board Director of BLK GRVTY. He is also the founder of UFlourish and actively supports the Women’s Business Development Council of Connecticut, Catholic Charities of Palm Beach, and Off the Streets Bridgeport.
