Development Manager

Location Jenkintown, PA

Hours Full-Time

This position oversees an internal team of Development Associates to meet fundraising goals through outbound activities to raise awareness and drive new fundraising opportunities, as well as handle inbound calls and inquiries related to opening and funding new donor-advised fund accounts. Responsible for supporting development activities across the nation which includes educating bankers and financial advisors through 1:1 interactions and group meetings by web presentations and conference calls, email campaigns, follow-up and fulfillment on new opportunities and engaging NPT’s Regional Directors as required for larger or more complex contributions. Achieves fundraising goals by hiring, training and coaching employees to develop their fundraising skills and technical knowledge. The manager will assist in developing and monitoring activity metrics, creating and updating work processes to improve performance, executing fundraising strategy, and ensuring the team achieves department goals.

Regional Director of Asset Development

This position will be responsible for asset development activities across the assigned region to enhance National Philanthropic Trust’s status as a leading provider of donor-advised funds and supporting organizations. This position will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships among legal and financial professionals, creating presentations and managing all activities related to attracting new assets.

This position will foster productive relationships between NPT’s growing list of financial service partners (FSP) to maximize their satisfaction. This role will manage initiatives that will include critical and strategic thinking and actions, that will help achieve institutional success and ensure the growth and quality of NPT’s success. This involves executing a comprehensive institutional client service model to deliver a best-in-class client experience. It requires a detailed understanding of our FSP’s needs and business objectives, translating those needs to NPT’s respective team leads, and providing effective service and guidance to address these needs in a timely manner and successfully achieve their business objectives.
