Jay Donato

Jay Donato is NPT’s Senior Vice President of Investments, bringing more than 20 years of experience in investment management and philanthropy. He oversees NPT’s investment portfolios, shaping strategy, identifying opportunities, and leading initiatives that support the organization’s long-term growth.  Before joining NPT, Jay was Director of Investments at The Pittsburgh Foundation, where he played a pivotal role in managing the Foundation’s endowed portfolio, with a specialized focus on private assets. His career also includes key positions at investment advisory firms in Pittsburgh and San Francisco, where he worked as a portfolio analyst and wealth planner.  Jay holds a BSBA in Finance from John Carroll University and has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
